Daily mindfulness
Last week was Mental Health Awareness Week.
The whole school engaged in some mindfulness everyday at 12. It was a lovely chance for the staff and the children to drop everything and take a few moments as a school to reflect.
In our class, we practice mindfulness at the end of the day. Sometimes we listen to some guided meditation, colour with music or have a class discussion on different topic relating to mindfulness.
In such a busy world, its important to be aware and appreciate everything happening around us. We try and be as mindful as possible in our everyday actions.
The class are just brilliant at participating and getting involved. It is lovely to see that they appreciate and understand the importance of being mindful!
